CaribNOG28: Collaborating for Digital Resilience

CaribNOG28 was held in the beautiful island of Curacao on September 19-20, 2024, as we explored the theme, “Collaborating for Digital Resilience.” This event, held in conjunction with the 10th Caribbean Peering and Interconnection Forum (CarPIF), was a pivotal gathering for networking administrators, technology practitioners, policymakers, networking engineering students and stakeholders committed to fortifying the Caribbean’s digital landscape.

The forum gathered key stakeholders to foster collaboration and share strategies for enhancing digital resilience. Through interactive sessions and discussions, participants explored how collective efforts can strengthen our network infrastructures and adapt to emerging challenges in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and Internet connectivity.

CarPIF

The Caribbean Peering and Interconnection Forum (CarPIF) is a unique forum providing participants with regional as well as global insights on how the Caribbean can maximize the opportunities that can be derived for greater interconnection and peering between local, regional and international internet service providers.

The annual CarPIF event is designed to address the Caribbean’s unique challenges and opportunities for peering and interconnection in the region.
